Day 1 (Note: the following is meant for Intro Game, Better Conflict and Newbie Game. Godlike Warfare does not include the option for exploring land. Also, IG and NG are Speed Factor 1 games. BC and GLW are Speed Factor 2 games. Meaning, in Better Conflict and Godlike Warfare, everything happens twice as fast as in IG/NG. Constructions, units' training, scanner building, all finish twice as fast. However, this also means that you will run out of protection time twice as fast.) First off, click on Buildings and make the following amounts of buildings: Water purifiers: 150 After you clicked on "Start construction" you will get the following message: Build Construction has been started, and will be finished in 21 hours and 31 minutes. Then click on the link "Bonus". Follow the link and you'll get 500.000 cardisium once a day. Do that every day to get some extra cash. The next thing to do is to explore for land. Land can be explored with money. You should have 1.190.000 cardisium left. So use it all for your first explore. Don't worry about money. You'll get more soon. And you will still have the bonus of 500.000 once a day. In the box next to "Money", put the remaining 1.19 million and in the "Time (in hours)" put the hours you want the explore to take. A good amount of hours to enter is 48, giving you 827 land. If you want the explore to be done faster, enter 24 hours (giving you 585 land). Later on, you can explore for a longer time and with more money to get more land. You should get this message: Explore You send your scouts out to explore extra land. Expect it to be finished in 48 hours and 0 minutes Day 2 When your buildings are done, you will notice money starting flow in as soon as your population grows. So be sure you check your buildings after 21 hours and 31 minutes. A few things have to be done then. First go to Factories. Once you have factories you have the advantage to let them work. Set the factories to 100% construction aid. It will decrease your next building time. Then go to Mines. I suggest you read the Newbie Help (Antrophia forums) about minerals. Arthok, Chrophat, Feronga, Phorfirum and Tyron are scanner minerals. They are sold at high prizes. There are three ways of acquiring scanner minerals: Shops, the Market and trading in alliances. Scanners make your explore go faster, which means that you need less money and less time to explore for the same amount of land. Scanners can be built by factories, but you need 10 scanner minerals of each kind and 10.000 cardisium for one scanner. To build scanners, change the Factory percentages, a good ratio at first is 90% Aid construction, 10% scanners. Once you have some minerals you can sell them on the market, or just keep them for later use. Other minerals not listed in this paragraph are for Long Range Cannons (apart from Armidi and Endaurios). Scanner minerals are not needed in Godlike Warfare. Next, the universities and starting a research. My advice is to start with agriculture, then housing. Try to get an equal level of agriculture and housing. Don't forget that your army is eating too. If you want your population to survive without building more water purifiers and nutrition suppliers, then you need to have a higher level of agriculture. Universities work faster the more you have of them. But the limit is 4.500. After you have that amount of universities, building more of them won't decrease research time anymore. Once your explore is done, build about 50 Power Plants if you have the money for it. They produce energy that is useful later on in the game. The rest of your land can be used for your economy. Keep building Living Areas/Water Purifiers/Nutrition Suppliers. Those are the most important of all. These are your main source of income for now. Always build 5 water purifiers and 8 nutrition suppliers for every 13 living areas you build. Build 75 police stations every time you build about 400 living areas. That should be enough to stop most of the Mercenary attacks on you and it keeps the rebels away. You need at least 1 police station for every 1.000 living souls in your empire. Start training your army. You can gain more land by attacking other empires. Use that land to build barracks. My point of view is to use exploration land for other buildings, and then the land you get from attacks for barracks. There's a limit of 4.000 barracks. After you have 4.000 barracks you can't train your forces faster. There's an option to use minerals. You need 2.000 Armidi and 2.000 Endaurios to make you train your forces twice as fast as the default. So these minerals are expensive in shops, checking the market might come in handy. After your first explore is done, you should build a few banks too. Each bank allows you to put 250.000 cardisium in it. A great way to start is 100 banks. That way you will be able to hold 25 million. Put all your money in the bank when you are not using it. It will get you interest and the money is safe from Mercenary attacks, as well as other players' attacks. Keep training troops as you see fit. Don't get too many of the weakest unit. For more information on troops and stacking, check the Antrophia forums. A mistake many new players make is to build impact shields and missile bases at the start of the game. These buildings are of no use just yet. You can build them later. Don't send too many missiles at other empires, they don't cause a lot of damage and they are just useless waste of money and energy. It's something to use later on when you have the money and the energy for it. If you want to be safe from missiles, you should build blast shields and/or turrets. One missile destroys around 30 blast shields but only 1 turret. Building turrets as defense against missiles is expensive, but it takes less land. In addition to missile defense, you have an option to build Star wars, the more Star wars you have, the better chances you will have to shoot down the missiles coming at you. This is also an expensive and time consuming building to make, but it is well worth it in the end. Antrophia forums, Newbie Help can be found at http://forums.antrophia.com/viewforum.php?f=12 Find out your schedule and build according to that. If you can only log in once a day, then try to get everything to take around 24 hours. |
