Planet Market

The market is a good system to buy and sell resources. In the beginning of the game, the prices often are very low, and the more the game progresses, the higher the prices will be (since everyone is wealthier in the end of the game) .

To sell resources, you should click the link at the bottom of the market page. After clicking on this link, a page with resource names and a text box next to them should appear. Enter your desired amount in the textbox next to the resource you want to sell, and click on the "Sell" button next to it. After this, you will be requested a time frame of the auction and a minimum bid amount. If you need a lot of money, it is recommended to wait a long time, to ensure much people saw the auction. A good amount for the minimum bid would be around 25% of what the Shops ask for that amount (this also depends in what stage of the game you are in, just toy around with it a bit) .

If you want to buy resources, you should select a resource type you want to buy. After selecting a resource (or selecting "All" to view all auctions) , a list of 50 (or less, 50 just is the maximum displayed) auctions will appear, sorted by resource type. To sort them in another way, click on "Seller", "Qt", "Price", "Type" or "Time" at the top of the list. It is sorted in descending order by default, but to sort them in ascending order, make sure you are viewing the sorted version descending, and click on the sort type (named above) again. The list will be turned over now.
To bid on an auction, click on the "Bid" link to the right of the auction. Then, detailed information about the auction should appear, such as highest bid, and auction seller. Also, a minimum bid amount will be given. If you enter an amount below this, you will receive an error. It is allowed to enter a higher amount, to make sure noone overbids you. After you entered a valid bid amount, you should be marked as the current highest bidder. When you are outbid, or the auction ends, you will receive a message in your message box.
