Impact Shields

Impact Shields are high power poly-phase shields capable of dispersing damage dealt from the Long Range Cannon. Each shield built becomes progressively less effective than the previous because of dimishing returns. This means that gaining an extra 1% defence is easier with fewer shields, than more shields

The maximum efficacy for Impact Shields is 99% defence-rate with 25,000 (25k) shields.
