Human Race

After the discovery of the FTL drive by the renowned scientist wing tah moh in the late 21st century human expansion spiralled out of all proportion. This discovery could not have come at a better time because the ice caps were melting and half of Europe was a desert, living space was at a premium and Earth's arcologies were filled to bursting point. Young men and women were shipped out on great arks and carriers.

The first planet to be colonised was in the star system Ross 128 and it was here also in the late 23rd century that the first alien race was discovered by human scientists, these aliens allthough friendly were very aloof and their technology was several orders of magnitudes above humans. Because of this Humans waged war against these aliens for many years until the aliens had beaten the human race into submission.

This was a dark time for the human race where heroes were born every day and every human banded together in one last desperate suicide strike against the aliens. What the humans did was to create the ultimate weapon a device that sent pulses out across the galaxy which drove mechanoids insane and made them destroy evrything.

This was the great calamity where both races were knocked back to the pre-FTL stage in their developmen. Over the next 100 years the human race scrabbled for survival on far flung colony worlds. Due to freak human luck one women discovered a fundamental principle behind the universe and this allowed the human race to re-coalesce and once again become strong.

By the time this happened the Re'lu whom the humans fought into submition had reached a similar stage in development and peace was achieved between the two races.

This peace came none to soon as another race made it's appearance on the scene the Trysaur who were extragalactic invaders.
