Re'lu race

Little is know about the race of mysterious beings known as the Re'Lu. Appearing seemingly from nowhere, the Re'Lu have quietly guarded their origins, and gaining new information about them has proven to be exremely difficult. What little is known has come from observation, and detailed examinations of Re'Lu battlefield remains.

Due to certain genetic markers in their physiology, the Re'Lu are suspected of having originated in the dense spiral worlds of the Galactic Center. This, however, is contradicted by disparities found between them and other known races from that region. The most striking of which is that the bodies of the Re'Lu are permeated with tissues totally unfamiliar to modern science, and whose purpose remains completely unknown. And while many believe these tissues to be the basis of some sort of auxiliary nervous system, scientists have been able to neither confirm or deny these theories. Rumors queitetly circulated by top biologists have hinted that these tissues may be the source of some of the more fantastic things witnessed among the Re'Lu.

One of the most astonishing characeristics witnessed, is their seeming ability to effect their surroundings through processes contradictory with the known laws of physics. Ordinary matter has been witnessed to follow some unseen cue in their presence, performing feats that that until further explanation is provided, are imcomprehensible to modern scientists.

Lifeforms too appear to be susceptible to their forces. Soldiers on the field of battle have been known to become confused and disoriented in their presence, defenceless against them. And Merchants and Traders of all races have long known that business is more profitably conducted from a distance, as their profits have been unexpectely low when conducted in person.

Graceful and sleek, like the Re'Lians themselves, the weapons of the Re'Lu have come to represent an even bigger question. Beneath a surface similarity to the weapons of the other races of Antrophia, their alien technologies remain a complete mystery. Some have even argued that the weapons are merely conduits for an internal ability that the Re'Lians themselves possess, and that their outward appearance is simply an attempt to confuse investigators, or perhaps an attempt to assuage their fears.

Quiet and reserved, the Re'Lian people tend not associate much with the other races, except where the necessities of business and war dictatate. And while on the surface they appear to be a fairly good natured and peacable people, there seems to be a certain urgency to some of their actions. And that, combined with the many other mysteries presented by them, has left many with a certain uneasiness about their future.
